Davis Auto Service and Gary Davis have been my automobile service choice from the day they opened. I favor independent garages over dealers because you can discuss your automotive issues with the owner and you are having to work with service representatives who are actually serving as profit centers for the dealerships and work on commission for the services they book. Gary Davis is very straight forward with you regarding work that is necessary to be done. If there is work that might be done later, he gives you the option to wait and will not insist that it be done immediately to make a sales quota. I have found them to be proficient working on different model cars. Davis Auto has serviced a Honda; Chevrolet S-10 Pickup; Chevrolet Lumina; Chevrolet Impala; Lexus for me and I have been very satisfied. I have so much trust in Gary and his staff that I take him the car and give him the key and say handle what needs to be handled and give me a bill. I first met Gary Davis when he was a service manager for a Chevrolet dealer in the area. I was having a major problem with the transmission of my car and no other dealer, in the area, including the selling dealer, had any intention of resolving the problem. Gary confirmed the problem, dealt with Chevrolet for warranty and had the car good as new in a few days. So it comes as no surprise Davis Auto Service has had my business since the day, fifteen years ago, the doors of Davis Auto Service opened. I travel with my business and it is comforting to know Gary and his staff will take care of any problems arising with cars my wife and two sons drive. If there is a question, my wife and sons know to take their car to Davis Auto Service where they will be taken care of as family.
